Head Teacher
Kim – A qualified Montessori Primary and Early Years Teacher from Ireland. Kim always wanted to be a teacher since she was 3 years old and has been working within the education sector for over 10 years.
She is very passionate about forest school and it’s child centered approach to education. Kim is a passionate Head Teacher who believes children have a right to a childhood full of nature, imagination, creativity, fun and friends. She aims to empower children to make their own choices, explore their own interests and develop their ability to explore the world around them.
Kim loves travelling and spending time with her husband and two young children.
Deputy Manager
Morwenna - A qualified Primary School Teacher, Morwenna always relished any opportunity to take her classes outside and became inspired at how nature enriches learning. She made the move to full-time outdoor education in 2017 and hasn’t looked back since, spending every day getting muddy and creative in the great outdoors. Morwenna loves playing instruments and singing songs with children as well as getting as messy as possible, often during activities involving leaves, paint and glue!
Forest School Leader
Saara - A Primary Steiner school teacher from Finland. Saara grew up on a farm so nature has always been a part of her life. She loves exploring and walking in forests. She became engrossed with outdoor education and Early years whilst working in Sweden where outdoors is a big part of nursery life, taking kids to the forests and wild was the best! She really enjoy outdoor crafts, music and some forest yoga in School Outdoors! In her spare time she likes to practice yoga, reading, take walks outdoors and enjoy various arts and music projects.
